Local ContractTRA CT Tech The CT (Computerized Tomography) Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Provides quality care to patients of all age groups; from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum education formal two year radiologic technology training in AMA approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT Preferred Education BS in Radiology or equivalentMinimum Experience 2 years with specific experience in CT Scan (computerized tomography) components Preferred ExperienceRequired Certification/Licensure American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) in computed tomography; or ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification AND documented training on computed tomography State License-if required CPR-Basic Life Support - American Heart Association CT Registry within 6 months Preferred Certifications/Registration CT RegistryTrusted Resource Associates (TRA) Job ID #130075.
